Last Friday I posted an entry I wish I hadn't. I implied that John McCain is a "gigolo" and that this is one reason why we shouldn't vote for him.
I wish I hadn't posted this because I believe that what we should be talking about is who would make the better president, and I don't believe that McCain's marriage or wealth is sufficiently relevant to this issue to be part of the discussion. God knows that Democrats and Republicans alike will make all kinds of questionable allegations and insinuations in the weeks to come about McCain's ill-gotten wealth, Obama's "effeminate" "elitism," and so on and so forth. But I don't want my blog to be part of this. If I say anything more about McCain or Obama, I want to say things that I think are truly germane to consideration of who would make the best president of the United States in these very challenging times.
I thought about deleting Friday's entry, but I decided to keep it as a vivid example of what I want to stay away from from now on.

Yesterday's post got too unwieldy and ended in a train wreck, while this
morning I overslept. Perhaps I can comb through yesterday's unpublished
wreckage...

So was I correct in asserting that you were bashing McSame?
After all, we were told over and over by the talking heads that Clintons' personal life had no relavence to his job as President, then why should McSames'. Right?
Todd,
And we never heard the end of Bill Clinton and his personal life from the Cons, did we? Not even until today, some 8 years after his presidency. So what's the big deal, can't Cons take what they never stop giving? I think we see the answer right here.

Nagarjuna,
Don't have "second thoughts" at all.
Your subject is simply part of the overall yingy-yangy demonstrating to Cons just how *they've* been acting since the Evangelical Christians and Karl Rove hijacked the once sensible Republican Party and turned it into a fanatical, mug-slinging dung-house.
I say until or unless the Cons knock off the personal crap it should be no holds barred for how moderates and liberals go right back after them.

Steve,
Are you also Grateful?
Todd: Where in the hell are you from? :-) It couldn't be the USA since you'd have to know Bill Clinton would still be President if there were no term limits.
You appear totally ignorant of US politics. You're also no doubt one of those claimers since you gave no explanation for why you believe BC is a "racist."
In other words, you look FOS. :-))

Nagarjuna,
Todd tries his best to divert attention away from the main point that IF Cons think it's fine to dish out personal dung then they should expect it right back in their faces.

Just google Bill Clinton and racist and see what you come up with.
Bill Clinton himself is defending himself against the charges in interviews.
What planet are you From?
Todd:
Google "McCain" with the word "Racist" and you'll come up with almost 29 MILLION HITS. (G)
Now, were you actually thinking you were proving something? (ROTFL)
